Angelo Riva is private Professor of Finance and Dean of Research at the European Business School (Paris), and affiliate researcher at Paris School of Economics. He is specialized in quantitative monetary and financial history. He has a large experience in managing interdisciplinary historical-data-driven projects and infrastructures. He is the principal investigator of the European project EURHISFIRM (European Commission) within the program Infrastructure Development of H2020. He is the scientific coordinator of the Equipment of Excellence “Data for financial history”. He is also the principal investigator of the projects “Systemic Risk in the 1930s” (French National Research Agency Grant) and “The Parisian Financiers’ Belle Epoque (1871-1913). Spaces, Organizations and Social Structures » (Laboratory of Excellence « Paris Sciences et Lettres » Research Council Grant) . Founding member of the EURHISTOCK research group, Angelo Riva is also member of the Steering Committee of the financial data infrastructure EUROFIDAI and invited member of the Steering Committee of the IRIS (Initiative of Strategic and Interdisciplinary Research) “Governance Analytics” supported by the Laboratory of excellence « Paris Sciences et Lettres ». He is also member of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Historical Studies of the Banque de France.

Angelo Riva is associate to the theme 1 of FFJ about Asian capitalism, diversity and institutional change in Asia. He was involve in the INCAS project that aimed at creating a top-level research and advanced training network on institutional change in Asia, in comparative perspective with Europe.
